An Instantly alternative for cold email with a personal video

Instantly is built to send text campaigns at volume across many mailboxes. EmailFlow OS is the alternative when each prospect should open a video made for them: you upload a single recording, every recipient gets a version with their own website behind you and an email written for them, and it all leaves through your own Brevo account and your own domain.

As of October 2026. Statements about Instantly on this page come from Instantly’s home page and its pricing page, both read on 23 October 2026. Instantly changes plans and limits from time to time, so check both pages before you decide. This page quotes no Instantly prices.

What Instantly says it does

Instantly describes itself as “cold email software for scaling outreach campaigns with unlimited email accounts and AI-powered lead generation”. Its home page promises automated outreach, “a B2B lead database, email deliverability tools, and an AI-powered CRM”, and says you can “create AI Sales Agents”. On the pricing page, the outreach plans are called Growth, Hypergrowth, Light Speed and Enterprise; the Growth plan lists unlimited email accounts and unlimited email warmup. Signing up is free and, in Instantly’s words, “No credit card required.”

Personalization on instantly.ai means text: “Let Instantly AI craft and personalize outreach at scale.” Neither page offers a video that is personalized for each recipient.

How EmailFlow OS is different

  • Video first. Your recording appears in a round cut-out over the prospect’s own website, so the first frame already shows something about them. In the email they see their personal thumbnail, and one click takes them to a video page that carries your booking link.
  • One email per person. AI drafts the subject line, the preview text and the body for every single recipient, using your campaign goal, your persona, the tone you choose and the row of data you imported for that person. Nothing goes out before you release it, unless you turn on automatic sending.
  • Your own sending setup. There is no pool of platform mailboxes: every message is sent from a verified sender in your own Brevo account, under your own domain, in one batch per day. An address that got an email from your account will not get another one within 24 hours.
  • Priced per video. You pay in credits, and one credit is one personalized video of up to 2 minutes, regardless of how many people work in your team. See the EmailFlow OS plans and credits.

When Instantly fits better

Stay with Instantly if your strategy is volume: many sending accounts with warmup inside the same tool, leads pulled from a built-in database, and a CRM next to your campaigns. EmailFlow OS has none of these. It also does not run automatic follow-up sequences yet (they are in development) and does not track replies; answers land directly in your reply-to inbox. If your prospects should get a short plain-text email rather than a video, a text tool is the simpler choice.

Trying EmailFlow OS next to Instantly

  • Take a small segment, for example your best-fit accounts, export it from your list and import it into EmailFlow OS as a CSV or Excel file. In AI campaigns the columns for first name, company and website are matched automatically.
  • Record your pitch once with whatever camera or screen recorder you like and upload the finished clip; EmailFlow OS does not record video itself.
  • Add the API key of your Brevo account, choose a sender you verified there and confirm a test email to yourself before the first batch starts.

New accounts receive 20 free credits without a credit card. They are valid for 5 days after sign-up, which is enough to see one small segment through from upload to sending.

Questions about an Instantly alternative

Is there a free Instantly alternative?

EmailFlow OS is not free to use long term. It has a trial instead: 20 credits, no credit card, valid for 5 days, which covers up to 20 personalized videos of up to 2 minutes each. After the trial you need a monthly plan or a credit top-up to keep sending.

Does EmailFlow OS warm up my inboxes like Instantly?

No. EmailFlow OS has no warmup feature and no pool of sending accounts. It sends through the Brevo account and domain you connect, so SPF, DKIM and DMARC for that domain should be set up before the first batch.

Can I run EmailFlow OS and Instantly at the same time?

Yes, if you split your prospects between the two. EmailFlow OS keeps one address in only one campaign of your account at a time, but it cannot see your Instantly campaigns, so keeping the lists apart across both tools is up to you.
