Which alternative is right depends on what you use your current tool for. Loom, Vidyard and BombBomb start from recording your own videos and sharing them. lemlist and Instantly are outbound platforms whose personalization is written text. EmailFlow OS covers one narrower case between the two groups: the first cold email to people who have not heard of you, where every recipient gets their own version of one uploaded video and the message leaves through your own Brevo account and your own domain.
As of October 2026. Each statement about another vendor on this page is taken from that vendor’s own website, read between 21 and 23 October 2026, and the pages are linked in each section below. No prices of other vendors are quoted here, because plans change; open the linked pages before you decide.
The table sets the five vendors side by side by the same two points: what each one says it is for, and which plans its pricing page names. EmailFlow OS is not part of this table; how it works is described in its own section further down.
| Tool | Built for, by its own description | Plans on its pricing page |
|---|---|---|
| Loom | Screen and camera recordings you share as a link, also for prospecting by email and LinkedIn | Starter (free), Business, Business + AI, charged per user |
| Vidyard | Video for revenue teams across the customer journey, including AI videos with avatars and video analytics | Free, Starter, Teams, Enterprise |
| BombBomb | Face-to-face videos recorded on a phone, in the browser or in a CRM and sent one by one | Core, Core + Copilot, Enterprise |
| lemlist | Multichannel outbound: email, LinkedIn, calls, WhatsApp and SMS, with a lead database | Email, Multichannel, Enterprise |
| Instantly | Cold email at volume over many sending accounts, with lead database, warmup and a CRM | Growth, Hypergrowth, Light Speed, Enterprise |
Loom’s strength is the recording itself: screen and camera in one app, comments and reactions on every video, and on Business + AI generated titles, summaries and chapters. Its page for sales teams describes sending those videos as links through email, LinkedIn and other channels, with variables for names, titles and companies; the plans are on Loom’s pricing page. For videos to colleagues or to customers you already know, that is hard to beat. For a cold list the open question is who sends the email: Loom gives you a link to share, and the message around it is yours to write and send. The Loom alternative for cold outreach walks through recording, sending and pricing in detail.
Vidyard aims wider than one campaign. Its home page names personal recordings, AI-generated videos, personalized video messages and analytics linked to leads, pipeline and revenue; the pricing page adds stock and custom AI avatars on the free plan and CRM and marketing automation integrations on Teams. If your whole company records and hosts video, that range is a reason to stay. For a single cold campaign much of it goes unused, and the email around the video is still yours to write and send. Read the Vidyard alternative that sends the video email for you for the side-by-side view.
BombBomb is made for relationship videos. On its home page you record in the mobile apps or straight from your CRM and track views and engagement on a dashboard; the pricing page lists browser extensions for Chrome and Edge, Gmail and Outlook integrations and unlimited video messages on Core. Advisers, agents and account managers who talk to known contacts every day get exactly that. A list of strangers works the other way round, because nobody records a fresh clip for every name on a long list. The BombBomb alternative for cold outreach covers that switch.
lemlist runs outbound on several channels at once. Its home page names email, LinkedIn, calls, WhatsApp and SMS and its own warm-up tool, lemwarm; the pricing page includes a lead database in every plan and lists custom text and images as its personalization. Teams whose process depends on LinkedIn steps, calls or WhatsApp next to email are well served there. If what you want to change is the first touch, so that it is a video made for one person, the lemlist alternative built around one personalized video explains the trade-off.
Instantly is built for reach. Its home page pairs automated outreach with a B2B lead database, deliverability tools and an AI-powered CRM; on the pricing page the Growth plan already lists unlimited email accounts and unlimited warmup. A team whose model is many mailboxes and many short emails has the right tool. If each prospect should instead open something made for them, the Instantly alternative with a personal video shows what changes.
EmailFlow OS is our own product, so it gets its own section here instead of a row in the table. It does one job, and the same job whichever tool you come from:
What it leaves out matters just as much. EmailFlow OS has no warm-up, no lead database, no CRM link and no reply tracking; replies go to your own inbox. Automatic follow-up sequences are still in development and not available to customers. The full list is on the features page, and the plans and top-ups on the pricing page.
Three points settle most choices between these tools, in this order:
Yes. Keep recording in Loom, Vidyard or BombBomb and upload the finished file. Next to lemlist or Instantly, split the prospects so that no address is in both: inside your account EmailFlow OS keeps an address in one campaign at a time, but it cannot see campaigns in other tools.
According to their pricing pages, Loom has a free Starter plan and Vidyard a Free plan; lemlist offers a 14-day trial, Instantly a free sign-up without a credit card, and BombBomb a free trial without a stated length. EmailFlow OS has no free plan, only a trial: 20 credits for 5 days, no credit card needed.
No. It has no recorder of its own. It takes one video you recorded elsewhere and turns it into a separate version for each recipient, together with the email that goes with it.
